New in Mem: Create Mems from Spotlight
Windows desktop app coming soon, too!

One of our most highly requested features is now live in the Mac Desktop App: the ability to quickly capture new mems via Mem Spotlight (⌘⇧Space). From anywhere on your computer and even while you're viewing another application, you can pull up Mem Spotlight with ⌘⇧Space. You'll see the option to create a new mem — press Tab to continue to a blank mem where you can jot down anything on your mind:
From here, you'll be able to also use topic tags, linked mems, and templates. Press ⌘ Enter to save the Mem. It'll appear in your Timeline and Inbox the next time you visit the app.

MEM workaround for Windows PC's
A great work around to have instant APP like access to this amazing application on a windows PC is the following:
1) Open mem.ai in a new independent window in Chrome
2) Click the ellipse dots in the upper right hand corner of the window,
3) Select MORE TOOLS
4) Select CREATE SHORTCUT
5) rename MEM
6) click the checkbox OPEN AS WINDOW
7) once your new MEM window is open, right click on the icon in the Taskbar
8) with the right click menu open, select PIN TO TASKBAR
VIOLA!
You can repeat this workflow with any window you open in Chrome to install a shortcut direct to your favourite application. Or - install the BISCUT browser! Its a game changer. You can install MEM as a new APP on the sidebar and change your game on windows while we wait for the real deal!
